Okay, y’all. We need to have a serious conversation. Pull up a chair, grab your tea (or something stronger, I don’t judge), and look at this meme I just stumbled across.
“Ppl be so flaw n really got it in they mind they the realest.”
I laughed so hard I almost choked. Because if this isn’t the truest, most accurate description of the dating pool, the friend group, and half the population right now, I don’t know what is.
We all know this person. Actually, scratch that. We know several of these people.
You know the type I’m talking about. The ones who post fifteen quotes a day about “loyalty” and “cutting off snakes,” meanwhile they are the entire snake farm. They are the zookeepers of the reptile house, yet they’re out here posting memes like they’re the victim. It’s the lack of self-awareness for me. It’s the audacity.
What Does Being “Flaw” Even Mean?
Let’s break it down for the class, because some people clearly missed the orientation. Being “flaw” isn’t just about making mistakes. We’re human; we all mess up. I mess up before I’ve even finished my morning coffee.
Being “flaw” is a character trait. It’s when your actions are shady, your word means nothing, and your loyalty is nonexistent—but you walk around with your chest puffed out like you’re the moral compass of the neighborhood.
It’s the guy who lies to your face about where he was on a Tuesday night, gets caught in 4K resolution, and then turns around and says, “You just don’t trust me because you’re insecure. I’m the realest guy you’ll ever meet.”
Sir? The only thing real about you is the audacity. Please sit down.
Why is it that the people who constantly scream “I keep it 100” are usually operating at a solid 15?
I have a theory. I think they repeat it to convince themselves. They think if they say “I’m real” enough times, it’ll magically erase the fact that they talked trash about their “best friend” yesterday, or that they played games with someone’s heart just for an ego boost.
They really got it in their mind that being rude is the same thing as being “real.” Have you noticed that? You call them out on being disrespectful, and they hit you with, “I’m just brutally honest. I don’t sugarcoat things.”
No, baby. There’s a difference between being honest and just being miserable. You’re not “keeping it real,” you’re just projecting your own mess onto everyone else and calling it authenticity.
These people are the stars of their own delusion. In their head, they are the hero. They are the prize. They are the victim of everyone else’s jealousy.
When you cut them off because you’re tired of the games? Oh, it’s not because they were flaw. It’s because you couldn’t handle them. It’s because you changed up. They spin the narrative so fast it would make your head spin.
I honestly almost admire the confidence. Imagine being completely wrong, loud, and wrong again, but sleeping peacefully at night thinking you’re the gold standard of human behavior. Must be nice to be that delusional. Ignorance really is bliss, isn’t it?
So, What Do We Do?
We laugh. That’s all we can do.
When you see someone like this—someone who is flaw to the bone but posting about being “the realest”—don’t argue with them. Don’t try to explain it to them. You cannot explain a mirror to someone who refuses to look in it.
Just look at them, send this meme to your actual real friends, and keep it moving. Protect your peace, protect your energy, and let them live in their fantasy world.
Because at the end of the day, real recognizes real. And flaw? Well, flaw eventually exposes itself. It always does.
Stay woke, y’all. And if you have to tell people you’re real… you probably aren’t.
