Hello everyone, Tina here!

As an adventurist and a self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast, I’ve always been thrilled by the rush of adrenaline that races bring. And today, I am incredibly excited to share with you the upcoming races that will be happening in our beautiful Southern California, specifically in Los Angeles, Hollywood, Riverside, San Bernardino, downtown Los Angeles, Melrose, and San Pedro. So, let’s dive right in!

  1. Los Angeles Marathon: Known as the “Stadium to the Stars”, this race is scheduled for November. Starting at Dodger Stadium and ending in Santa Monica, the course covers some great spots in LA, including Chinatown, Little Tokyo, and Echo Park.
  2. Hollywood Half Marathon: This glamorous race, scheduled for December, takes you through the heart of Hollywood. Runners will pass famous landmarks like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Dolby Theatre, and the TCL Chinese Theatre.
  3. Riverside Citrus Classic: If you’re up for a fun, family-friendly event, this one’s for you. It’s due in October and includes 5K, 15K, and 50K bike rides, all while enjoying the beautiful citrus and avocado groves of Riverside.
  4. San Bernardino Sunset Strip Half Marathon: This race, planned for early November, offers a unique experience of running at sunset. The course takes you through the historic downtown district with breathtaking views of the San Bernardino Mountains.
  5. Downtown LA Running Festival: This festival promises an exciting day filled with a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon race. Scheduled for late November, it’s a great way to explore downtown LA, featuring landmarks such as the Staples Center and LA Live.
  6. Melrose 5K: Happening in mid-October, this race offers a wonderful opportunity to run through one of LA’s most stylish districts. The course is flat and fast, making it perfect for runners of all levels.
  7. San Pedro Bay 10K: This race, set for early December, is truly a scenic one. It takes runners along the beautiful coastline of San Pedro with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

These are some of the upcoming races in Southern California that I am particularly excited about. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner looking to take on a new challenge, these races offer something for everyone. So, grab your running shoes and join me in taking on these exciting races!

Remember, it’s not about how fast or how far you can go; it’s about setting a goal and pushing yourself to achieve it. I can’t wait to see you all there!

Until the next race,
Tina
