Our story begins in the bustling city of New York, in the small, cozy apartment of a young woman named Lucy. Lucy was an ordinary girl with an extraordinary dream – to sail around the world. She loved the sea, the unending horizons, and the promise of adventure it held.

One day, Lucy received a letter that would dramatically change her life. An eccentric, distant relative had left her an unexpected inheritance – an old, majestic sailboat. Lucy was over the moon! This was her chance to turn her dream into reality.

Lucy decided to embark on a solo trip around the world, sailing through the seven seas. She spent weeks preparing, learning navigation, studying weather patterns, and gathering supplies. Her friends and family watched her preparations with a mix of awe and apprehension, but Lucy was undeterred.

The day of her departure finally arrived. The dock was filled with her loved ones, all there to see her off. Amidst the tears and smiles, Lucy’s best friend, Rose, stepped forward and handed her a small, wrapped package. “For the journey,” she said simply.

As Lucy unwrapped the package, her eyes filled with tears. Inside was a small compass with an inscription that read, “May you always find your way home.” Overwhelmed, Lucy hugged Rose tightly, thanking her for the thoughtful gift.

As Lucy stepped onto her boat, Rose raised her hand and called out, “Bon voyage, Lucy! May the sea be kind and the winds favorable!”

With that, Lucy set sail, her heart filled with excitement and a pinch of anxiety. But as she looked back at her friends waving and shouting “Bon voyage,” Lucy knew she had the strength and support to face the adventures that lay ahead.

Her journey was filled with challenges and triumphs, lonely nights and beautiful dawns, fears and exhilarations. But throughout, she held onto Rose’s words, “Bon voyage,” a reminder of the journey she had embarked on, and the love and support she had back home.
